The Reserve subdivision is a newer community built in the mid 2000′s with a phenomenal location.  Prices in this Centex constructed community range from the mid 200′s to low 300′s and features both swimming and club house amenities.  The lot sizes are nice, generally .4 acre or above.  The school districts for the Reserve Subdivision are Sandy Ridge Elementary and Marvin Ridge Middle and High, all great schools with very high scores on the NC standardized testing system.

Somerset Subdivision is located just across the Mecklenburg County line off of Tom Short road and has homes ranging from the high 200′s to the mid 300′s.  This community had multiple builders constructing homes, that, combined with the age of the community (built in the late 1990′s early 2000′s) give this community a nice feel (not cookie cutter and mature trees).  The schools for Somerset are Rea View Elementary and Marvin Ridge Middle and High.  The community offer swim and tennis amenities along with a community center and playground/common area.
